Kaiden Shihan Sofue Toshihisa
Schoolname: Sofue Dogen Minamoto-no-Toshimitsu
Born in 1943, began studying Shotokai karate in 1958.
He joined the Nihon Sobudo Rengokai in 1968 and began studying aikido, iaido, jodo, jukempo, kendo and other arts of Takeda Ryu.
He founded his own dojo, Saitama Sobukan, in 1974 and is directing this school since then.
He received his Kaiden Menkyo (highest instructor's license of the school) from Soke Nakamura in 1981.
He is one of the longest friends of Soke Nakamura. This friendship you still can feel today.
