Okuden Shihan Toyoshima Masayuki
Schoolname: Toyoshima Shogen Minamoto-no-Masamitsu
Born in 1954, began studying kendo as a child.
He joined the Nihon Sobudo Rengokai in 1970 and began studying aikido, iaido, jodo, jukempo, kendo and other arts of Takeda Ryu.
He founded his own dojo, Sakado Soobukan, in 1983 and is directing this school since then.
He also taught at the honbu dojo in Tokyo for many years.
He received his Okuden Menkyo (instructor's license for the secret teachings of the school) from Soke Nakamura in 1985.
Okuden Shihan Toyoshima was the youngest Okuden Shihan ever. His understanding of the school can be seen in each of his harmonic movements. Okuden Shihan Toyoshima is the direct master of Sensei Schwenk.
