1st Journey to Soke Nakamura April 2006

After 15 hours we finally reached our Ryokan

A nice little place

with traditional rooms

in a small part of Tokyo

we thought to relax but Toyoshima sensei picked us up and we drove to the pacific

directly to Soke (in the meanwhile really tired)

Dr. Evemarie Wolkenstein, Soke and Sensei Schwenk

in Soke´s private dojo at his home

We got a delicious food, the right thing after such a long journey

and guess who came later Morita sensei

after more then six years the first time we met again so we brought some presents

and they liked it

then Soke presented me some Sake

we all felt relaxed and happy

discussion started "Tell me what happened in Europe so long? Why you are here again?"

Took some time to explain

Soke listened very carefully

the handshake for getting the permission to become member of the Nihon Sobudo Rengokai directly

this was a special moment

for us all

so lets eat Itatakimasu

late in the night it was time to say good bye

the next day a short trip to Kyoto on the way we saw the Fuji san without clouds our faith was good that days

got a new friend

even in the subway you need direction

near Asakusa the Philip Stark Building

and then the biggest fishmarket on this planet Tsukiji, this fish is about 1,80 meter long

this shells are about 50 cm long

this suid is as big as a Newspaper

and this one are like three palms

but this was a giant from let to right 2m honestly

it seems that only the sea fruits are big in Japan, but really big

the secret of the toothpick

get prepared because this is the first question Morita sensei will ask you

After Sensei Schwenk split of all european representatives in 2004 he worked very hard on opening his own dojo. Dr. Evemarie Wolkenstein supported him very much in finding his way back on the track. After fullfilling his greatest wish he directly went to Soke Nakamura for permission in teaching the real japanese Bujutsu, named Takeda Ryu Nakamura Ha. This are the pictures of his first visit in Japan and in Sokes house. At that time he was the only European, who had this honour. Because of Sensei Schwenk some other European gained access to Soke Nakamura since that time.
