What a loss!

endurance Turnier 1996 mit Hasumi sensei

It saddens me very much to announce the loss of one of our most precious senseis in Japan.
He dedicated his life to the school. He supported Soke very much.
My Master Toyoshima was his sensei for a very long time at the hombu dojo.
Then he decided the step very few only took, to open his own dojo.

After a short but violent illness he went to the next dimension.
I had the first contact with him in 1997. And how could it be different, on the tatami at the first tournament between westeners and japanese ever.

Rest in peace Hasumi sensei.
Get some Sake and hopefully you will meet a lot of samurai up there, whom of course you can teach the right way.
