There are these guys telling others not to be to proud as this shall be a rule in all martial arts.
Do not show your feelings.
To be proud makes you egoistic and therefore you do not follow the path of a real warrior.
To all of you, you are wrong. Completely wrong.
You invented this rule for telling it to your students but not to yourself.
While you put your pressure on the seito you remain self centered and egoistic.
The very sentence „you shall not be proud“ puts you in a position above the person you talk to.
You demand the rules of honour from your students but do not hold them highly for yourself.
I am proud.
I am proud to learn the oldest existing japanese martial art.
I am proud to have a japanese master.
I am proud being able to make a living out of my passion.
I am proud of every student I have.
I am proud that the student achieves something.
I am proud of my dojo.
Therefore I do not copy and paste commercials from other schools.
Therefore I do not seek comparison to others, as a samurai never did.
Therefore I do not support people, whose standard underlies mediocracy.
Therefore I do not listen to the so called masters, who never show something of themselves while showing only their students.
Be aware of being proud and being egoistic.
You should not be egoistic but the hell, BE PROUD!
